Since Coeus did come with a reporting writing tool, the R-Net team worked closely with the AIS QDB Team for over six months to carefully design and implement a new query data model fed nightly from the Coeus Oracle database.  A special workgroup comprised with representatives from several campus departments also helped to finalize this new contract and grant reporting data source.  Now everyone on campus who has a QDB login id is able to access this important proposal and award database.  The data model, data dictionary, and a tutorial on using the new online web reports can be easily referenced by clicking the following items.

R-Net QDB Data Model - This pictoral representation identifies all of the data attributes within the eleven tables.  This information is fed nightly from Coeus to the R-Net QDB.   A complete refreshed database is then available to campus departments the following morning.

R-Net QDB Data Dictionary - Over 100 data elements have been defined along with the purpose of each of the eleven tables.  If any particular field has a variety of possible entries, they too have been itemized beneath the applicable data definition.

Using the New R-Net Web Reports - Although the R-Net QDB can be accessed with a wide variety of ad-hoc querying tools, several new web reports using the new R-Net QDB as their source of data have been designed and made available to the campus since the May 1st implementation.
